La Via del Carretto it’s a pretty ideal place for a relaxing stay from which you can move to discover known and less known routes/tracks.
The building that houses the B&B was once a collection of old tower houses huddled together, built between the end of 1800 and the beginning of1900. We have retrieved them through a careful restructuring work (or renovation work?) to preserve as much as possible the original structure of the buildings, merely putting them in touch with each other, consolidating the already massive stone walls and using, where possible, materials that could maintain the simplicity of the place and create a warm and welcoming atmosphere .
The ideal place for those wishing to escape from places crowded, shy away from widely known tourist areas and, at the same time, want to explore the surrounding area and to know a “piece” of Sicily, because like Gesualdo Bufalino wrote“… Sicilies are many, we will never stop to count them”.
